Family owned and ran business, good food at a reasonable price. Definitely worth the stop

They have great ice cream and other desserts. I had a burger and fries and it was tasty. Low prices also. Good location, but be careful. Many accidents in front of their building. Nice view of the woods, if you sit in the back. Handicap restroomsOn Friday June 21st the service was terrible. The employees couldn't remember the order and took so long to ring it up. They need to get people in their with better personalities. It has gone downhill since my last review!

The food is always good but I wish they would do a number system for orders so people wouldn't rush in front of me and take mine..this also happened to my bf

They deserve a five star all day, classic drive in style/look. Was exactly the place we wanted to eat at in PA. People that live there are lucky to have it. Next time I'll get a cheeseburger, I ordered 4 PC chix, thought I was getting broasted but honey dipt fried was good tons of honey, onion rings were on point. I have been in the industry for fifteen years so yeah maybe the team could use an older person to influence and instill that old school hustle and friendly attitude that you also want to see but hey it seems the quality is there, locals know that it was better back in the day maybe ... Five stars!

Great little place. At least 8or more car's there all the time I was there. Was picking up loads next to it. Very clean and the people were pleasant.. prices are about the same no matter where you go.

Pizza is not gourmet but still has you wanting this homey style pizza. it has a unique flavor saucy with Italian seasoning, very bready dough. Milkshakes are delicious!

Still one of the best famous old style places to eat. Burgers and a shake but the BBQ is best.

Customer service is not good. With the takeout they forgot to put everything in the bag, so I had to drive back to get it. When I was waiting to tell them about the missing sandwich one of the employees just opened the window and hand it to me. When I told her that they are wasting my gas driving back and forth, to which the employee just laughed. The kids menu comes with icecream and they put just like a tiny bit in it. The one in Lewisburg usually fills the dish. Not going there again and wouldn’t recommend anyone else

Love going to May's. They have been there for a very long time and everything is still so good. Love the added on room. Went there as kids, took my kids and now take my grandson!!

Good ice cream

Good ice cream. Cheesesteak w build s bar and haddock sandwich was good. Prices about what you expect. Service not so great. Asked for cheesesteak in garden, I was told that I had to have with onions, peppers and sauce. Another worker told me I was right and changed order for us.

Very good cheeseburger cooked perfectly. Really good french fries and they had the hot cheddar to dip them in. They are a little skimpy with the fries when you order a basket meal, but if you order cheese fries separately you get a fair sized amount of them. Their ice cream is very good too. Best of all, there are no waitresses. You get your own condiments and toppings and napkins and such. So you don't have to leave a tip to eat there, which is awesome!

Love it every time we go....which is about once a week. A staple in our community. Great food, staff, and environment.

I had a cheese burger with chili added. Fries were hot, fresh and delicious crinkle cut. My burger was steaming hot. Chili was tasty, but burger itself was tasteless. They need to season them while cooking. Great birch beer soda. Spouse's vanilla malt rates 3/5 per him. They let you put your own toppings on your sandwiches. Appreciated that. It was Fresh and Fast as advertised. A few miles off I-80 but worth it.

The archetypical small-town family-run down home fast food joint. This place out-McDonaldses McDonald's. The food is delicious, it's super fast, and really cheap. I just got a large burger basket and a hot ham and cheese sandwich for 12 bucks and some change. You can't beat that. Places like this closing in favor of encroaching corporations was what Bill Bryson was talking about when he lamented the loss of local character. Well, Bill, it's not all gone. Come eat at May's!

I would expect 2 things from an ice cream diner...1) that their food is better than a chain fast food restaurant 2) that their ice cream choices and options are exceptional This May's location falls short on both.The May's restaurants are independently owned and unfortunately, this May's location doesn't come close to the quality, options, and service that the May's in Ashland does.

Great lil spot food is good and good prices as well

Been going to May's since I was a kid. Played for two May's baseball teams as a teenager and have been friends with family members for years. Always always always have great food. Cheeseburger basket and pizza is my "go to" for dinner. I always go directly to the May's stand at the Bloomsburg fair and get a BBQ. Great family, great food and priceless nostalgia.

Love May's ice cream and prices aren't bad either!

Very cute little place. Family of 3 cost $20 for full meals and drinks. Food was cooked perfect. Staff was kind. Clean place and clean bathroom facilities. And can I just say...BEST FRENCH FRIES IVE HAD IN A WHILEEEEE. only 10 minutes from danville hospital which was perfect for us with our kiddo. Plenty of seating and easy accessibility loved this place!

My husband and I visited May's for lunch. Although we can't dine inside currently, they were still very thorough and prompt with our order.

For being something of a fast food type place, and for having teenagers working there, the food was great! The selection and pricing is perfect, and it still has the vibe that the May's Drive-Ins are known for! I'd eat there again.

Food was not good small portions ordered a side onion rings there were like 5 little ones only good thing there is the ice cream

Food was average at best, for the price it's not really a good deal like back a couple years! Price went up portions got smaller.

Save room for the ice cream! The cheese steak and the hamburgers were wonderful. The atmosphere is 50s drive in. Cime on in the building to listen to 50s music you likely haven't heard yet. Sit in a booth and chat with your neighbors. There is room for a wheelchair in the back room with booths in the front two. It is counter service, so it can get crowded in the front room. Food is very good for the price. The ice cream is wonderful!

a twist ordered got all chocolate, also ordered a banna split no marshmellow (marshmallow DOES NOT go on a banna split) there was Marshmellow ice cream for it was supposed to be vanilla, chocolate and strawberry like normal was vanilla and chocolate pretty disappointed service

It was upsetting to see customers without masks on.

Fast friendly service and yummy food. What more could you want? Loved the ice cream and relaxed diner feel.
